YOUR TASKS

  • Design and Optimization of Electric Machines using 2D and 3D FE-simulation tools
  • Validation and improvement of calculation methods for efficiency and performance prediction
  • Detailed investigations of specific loss mechanisms in electric machines with a focus on inverter-induced losses
  • Interdisciplinary system optimization in collaboration with Electronics, Mechanics, and Software expert teams
  • Definition and evaluation of functional tests on in-house test benches

YOUR PROFILE

  • Studies in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in the Design and Optimization of Electric Machines
  • Expertise in Electromagnetic FE-simulation tools, preferably ANSYS Maxwell or JMAG
  • Hands-on mentality and flexibility to perform different tasks
  • Eager to push the boundaries in a dynamic work environment
  • Team player willing to go out of their way to help others
  • Solid skills in English and German
